CP7 Training Course:
The Safe Use of Oxy-Fuel Gas Equipment
The course will provided by iSpec Solutions Limited and will assist delegates with suitable training in the safe use of Oxy – Fuel (acetylene, Propylene & propane) Gas Equipment.
Course Description
Anyone using Oxy-Fuel Gas Equipment has health and safety responsibilities, both for their safety and anyone else that could be affected by their activities. Staff that are required to use Oxy-Fuel Gas equipment must receive adequate training.
They must be aware of the Hazards and Risks associated to the use of the equipment and the control measures in place to help keep them and others safe.
Course Duration
Our CP7 – The Safe Use of Oxy-Fuel Gas course takes up to 1hr to complete. The course can be completed onsite.
We bring into our training 15 years of experience within the industry to ensure our delegates are able to understand why the training is so important to your operation.
This Training Course will cover:
- Code of practice CP7 Revision 8 2018 – British Compressed Gas Association to comply with The Acetylene Safety (England, Wales and Scotland) Regulations 2014 (ASR 2014)
- HSE guidance INDG327 Working safely with acetylene (included as handout)
- Hazard and risk assessment using oxygen acetylene equipment
- Maintenance of equipment (PUWER Regulation 5).
Assessment/Certification
Assessments are carried out through continuous observation of the course trainer and assessments.
Successful candidates will receive an in-house training certificate which will last for a period of 12 months.
